Warranty Information

Effective Date: December 30, 2025

This Consumer Limited Warranty describes the limited warranty protection that may be available for eligible products purchased through our store. The warranty is intended to address certain defects in materials and workmanship that arise during the applicable coverage period when a product is used under normal conditions and for its intended purpose. This warranty operates together with any consumer protections required by applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial or local law. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove, restrict or reduce a legal right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded in the jurisdiction where the product was purchased or used.

For eligible non-aviation products, the standard limited warranty generally begins on the date of the original purchase and remains in effect for one year. If a qualifying product develops a manufacturing or material defect during that period, the reported issue may be reviewed to determine whether it falls within the scope of warranty coverage. When a claim is accepted, the available remedy may include repair, replacement or another solution permitted by the applicable warranty terms and governing law. Qualifying parts and labor associated with an approved warranty repair are generally provided without an additional service charge. Customers may, however, remain responsible for costs associated with transporting or shipping a product to or from a service facility.

The warranty is intended to address defects that originate from manufacturing or materials rather than ordinary deterioration caused by regular use. Normal wear, aging and cosmetic changes are generally not covered. Scratches, dents, scuffs, abrasions, discoloration and similar surface conditions ordinarily fall outside the scope of warranty protection unless they are directly connected to a qualifying manufacturing defect. Consumable components, including batteries and other items designed to experience normal depletion, may also be excluded unless the failure can reasonably be attributed to a covered defect in materials or workmanship.

Warranty protection generally does not extend to damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper handling, incorrect operation or use inconsistent with the product’s intended purpose. Damage caused by flooding, excessive moisture or water exposure, fire, severe weather, natural events or other external conditions may likewise fall outside coverage. Products that have been modified, altered, repaired or serviced by an unauthorized person or service provider may not qualify for warranty assistance. Unauthorized work can change the condition or operation of a product and may make it difficult to determine whether the reported problem originated from an original manufacturing defect.

Problems resulting from incompatible accessories or connected equipment may also be excluded. Customers should use compatible chargers, power supplies, cables, adapters, accessories and other components that are approved or suitable for the relevant product. Damage caused by unsuitable electrical equipment, unsupported accessories, uncertified adapters or cables that do not meet applicable technical or safety requirements may not be covered under this warranty.

Warranty eligibility may also depend on the circumstances in which a product was acquired, distributed or used. Where applicable law permits such limitations, warranty service may be unavailable when providing the requested service would conflict with legal or regulatory requirements. Customers should retain purchase documentation and other records that may help establish the product’s eligibility and original purchase date.

Products that provide navigation, positioning or travel-related information are designed to assist with general navigation and should not be treated as the sole source of information when precise location, direction, distance, elevation, terrain or other measurements are critical. Mapping information, positioning data and related navigation content may contain inaccuracies, omissions or changes and may not always reflect current conditions. Environmental conditions and changes to roads, terrain, infrastructure or other geographic features can also affect the usefulness of navigation information.

Navigation performance may be influenced by external electronic conditions. Certain mobile devices, wireless equipment and terrestrial communication systems can operate on frequencies that may interfere with signals used by satellite-based navigation systems under particular circumstances. Such interference can reduce, interrupt or otherwise affect signal reception and positioning performance. A temporary reduction in navigation functionality caused by external interference does not, by itself, establish that the product has a manufacturing defect.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the remedies specifically provided through this warranty are the primary remedies available for an accepted warranty claim. Any implied, express or statutory warranties that may legally be excluded are disclaimed to the extent permitted. Where local law does not permit an implied warranty to be excluded, the duration of that warranty may be limited to the period specified by this written warranty unless applicable law requires a longer period.

Some jurisdictions impose restrictions on warranty limitations or do not permit the exclusion of certain incidental, special or consequential damages. As a result, particular provisions of this warranty may not apply in every location. Mandatory rights and remedies provided under applicable consumer protection laws remain available wherever they cannot legally be waived or limited.

When a qualifying claim is approved during the applicable warranty period, the available resolution may involve repairing the product, providing a replacement unit or, where permitted and appropriate, refunding the original purchase price. Repairs may involve new components or previously used components that meet applicable quality standards. Replacement products may be new or professionally recertified units with comparable functionality. The specific remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, product availability, applicable law and the circumstances surrounding the claim.

A repaired or replacement product may receive additional limited warranty coverage. Unless applicable law requires a longer period, a repaired or replacement unit may generally be protected for ninety days following the date of service or for the remainder of the original warranty period, whichever provides the longer period of coverage.

Before requesting warranty assistance, customers are encouraged to review available product documentation, setup instructions, troubleshooting information and support resources. Some issues involving configuration, installation, software or ordinary operation may be resolved without returning the product. If reasonable troubleshooting does not resolve the problem and the issue appears to involve a qualifying defect, customers should contact us at garmin@gmail.com for further assistance.

When requesting warranty service, customers may be asked to provide proof of purchase, order information, product identification details, model information and a description of the reported problem. Additional information may be requested when reasonably necessary to assess eligibility or determine the appropriate service. Customers may also receive specific instructions regarding packaging, shipping and return procedures. Products should not be sent to a service location before the applicable warranty instructions have been provided.

Warranty service requested in a country other than the country where the product was originally purchased may be subject to additional conditions. Product specifications, replacement inventory, service capabilities, regulatory standards and available parts can differ between regions. Consequently, an identical repair or equivalent replacement may not always be available internationally. Where appropriate and legally permitted, another suitable remedy may be offered based on local service capabilities and applicable requirements.

When warranty service involves shipping a product across international borders, customers may be responsible for complying with applicable import, export and customs requirements. Duties, taxes, brokerage charges, transportation expenses and other international shipping costs may also be the customer’s responsibility. Local laws, product restrictions or regulatory requirements may make international warranty service unavailable in certain circumstances.

Products obtained through unauthorized sellers, unapproved online stores or sources outside recognized distribution channels may not qualify for warranty protection where applicable law permits such restrictions. Customers may be required to provide an original receipt, order confirmation or other acceptable evidence demonstrating where and when the product was purchased. Documents associated with auctions, private sales or secondary marketplaces may not always establish eligibility for warranty service.

If a product was purchased through an independent retailer or another third-party seller, the transaction may also be governed by that seller’s own return, exchange or service policies. Customers should retain invoices, receipts, order confirmations and other purchase records. When assistance relates specifically to a third-party transaction, contacting the original seller may be necessary to address certain purchase or service questions.

Certain product categories may have warranty arrangements that differ from the standard consumer coverage described here. Specialized products, including aviation equipment, marine products, recreational vehicle equipment and selected audio products, may be subject to separate warranty conditions or different coverage periods. The warranty applicable to a particular product depends on its category, purchase location, accompanying documentation and the laws governing the transaction.

For products purchased outside the United States, local consumer protection laws and warranty arrangements provided by regional distributors may offer additional rights or service options. The scope and duration of these protections can differ between countries and regions. Customers who are uncertain about the warranty requirements applicable to an international purchase may contact us at garmin@gmail.com for information about the available process.

Customers in Australia may have statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law in addition to any limited warranty described here. These mandatory consumer protections can include rights relating to acceptable quality, major failures, repair, replacement, refunds and reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude or restrict an Australian consumer guarantee or other right that cannot legally be excluded.

This warranty applies only to the extent permitted under applicable law. Its purpose is to establish a defined process for addressing eligible manufacturing and material defects while preserving consumer protections that cannot legally be waived. Warranty eligibility, coverage duration and available remedies may depend on the product type, purchase circumstances, reported issue, service location and governing legal requirements.

Customers with questions concerning warranty eligibility, coverage periods, service procedures, proof of purchase, international support or available remedies may contact us at garmin@gmail.com. Providing complete product and purchase information when making an inquiry can help facilitate the review process and allow the appropriate warranty requirements and next steps to be explained clearly.
